Can I swing by your office?

Nope. We don't have one, and we think that's for the best.

At Atomic8Ball we run a 100% remote, virtual office. Some of us live in San Diego, while others live in different cities, states and even countries! Here are few of the reasons we believe operating this way not only serves us better, but our clients as well:

We're more productive.
In a study by Harvard Business Review remote workers are shown to be more productive than traditional office staff. This means your updates, apps and websites all get done better and faster.
We have less overhead.
Business 101 dictates that you have revenues and expenses. If you're doing it right, you should keep your expenses relatively close to (ideally less than) your revenues. So when we aren't spending money on a ritzy office lease each month that money goes directly into bigger, stronger, faster servers to run your sites as fast as possible. Faster sites means happier customers.
Our employees rock.
Because we are not geographically tied to a single labor pool we can hire the best possible workers available. Because of this you are getting the highest quality service that we can possibly offer.
It's not that different.
With tools like Sqwiggle, Google Hangouts and VoIP we're all in close communication all the time. We know who's available and who isn't and we're always within reach of each other.

Many companies are making the shift towards allowing remote workers and while it may not be a perfect fit for everyone, we think it is what allows us to provide the best all around web presence management service for our customers.
