Atomic8Ball Web Presence Management: Your Web Presence Solution

Is your SEO company selling you snake oil?

“ Hi my name is ______ and I'd like to help your company get to the #1 spot on Google! ”

As a business professional, I'm sure you hear this phrase 3 times a day. Trying to sell ranking on Google like you're buying a house in the Hamptons. These companies claim that by paying them hundreds to thousands a month, they will be able to provide the secret formula that will help supply your website with unlimited traffic and unlimited leads.

When it comes to your SEO company, is your website getting the necessary nutrients to grow and flourish or are you feeding your website snake oil hoping for different results?

Your website should be treated as a living, breathing entity!

I've never seen more confusion on what SEO is and what you can do to improve your site. As business professionals, we just know that SEO exists and that if we don't have it, it's a bad thing. However, treating SEO as a supplement couldn't be further from the truth. It's not like there's a magic solution out there that keeps your company forever relevant.

Confused about SEO

Here are the top 3 myths regarding your website and Google:

  1. I want to be #1 on Google for anyone searching for term "______".

Any company reporting a specific ranking number to you is giving you useless, false and misleading information. Stop paying attention to where you rank and start looking at the impact on your websites traffic and, more importantly, the sales and conversions that your site is helping you achieve.

  2. I'm #1 on Google now! Now we wait for the money to roll in.

No you aren't. Google results are different for everybody based on browsing history, location and a multitude of other factors.

  3. I'm #1 on Google and I have a lot of traffic to my site however no sales. What gives?

This is a big thing I have to stress to prospective clients. Your web site is only the beginning of the journey. Too many supposed SEO companies only pay attention to ranking, whereas taking your web site traffic and converting it to leads is just as, if not more, important than traffic volume.

We get you off the SEO supplement and get your website on the track to success. Here's how:

Lean mean code

Lean mean code

Just like the human body, the better things you put in to your website the more you get out of it. Platforms like WordPress and Joomla are like processed foods. Although yes technically they work, you're going to get a far better result if you hand craft the code for your website.

At Atomic8Ball, we write lean mean code which means you're doing to get more out of your website and it's going to perform better online, because it's not weighed down by useless bloat that ends up making your website harder to use by your clients.

Lightning fast page speed

Lightnight fast page speed

Who loves super slow websites?! Google knows this as well. That's why Google looks for the fastest, most responsive websites to deliver to their customers. Most people don't look at Google as a business but rest assured, they're going to deliver the best results to their customer base.

If your website takes longer than 3 seconds to load, nearly half your potential visitors have already moved on. At Atomic8Ball, we use Amazon's CloudFront Content Delivery Network (CDN) to provide blazing fast websites. A typical Atomic8Ball website loads in less than half of a second.

Security

Security

Atomic8Ball websites are encrypted using a modern cipher suite. We use TLS 1.2, encrypted and authenticated using AES_128_GCM and using ECDHE_RSA as they key exchange mechanism.

Many older sites are still using the obsolete SHA1 cryptographic hashing function. This older encryption style is insufficient for modern transactions.

Mobile-friendliness

Mobile-friendliness

Atomic8Ball's websites pass Google's mobile-friendly check and are optimized for mobile devices. Why is this important? Searches that originate from mobile devices favor results that are mobile friendly. If your website is built with only desktops in mind, your relevancy in the mobile space is diminished.

Keyword tuning and social media marketing

Keyword tuning and social media marketing

Like any good routine, it needs to be evaluated and modified to get optimum results. Just because you know a particular phrase in your industry, doesn't mean your clients are looking for it. At Atomic8Ball, we proactively do keyword tuning on your website to make sure you stay relevant in your industry. We also meet with you on a monthly basis to talk about what's new, what's exciting at your company to ensure you consistently have fresh content on your site.
