Working on the Atomic Marketing Program has shown me that not everyone knows what the social media sites are intended to do, especially with regards to our program. While it would be great if these sites could sell any and every product, this is not always the case.
What social media sites can do for you, is keep you at the forefront of your client's mind, when they are considering upgrading an existing system or trying a new solution. While your “tweet” may not sell a product, a “tweet” reminding customers of what you're all about, followed up by knowledgeable customer service representatives, puts you that much closer.
